Registry Service Fee

There is a service fee of 7% on the total amount contributed to your registry. For more information on the service fee please read our FAQs, contact us or send us an email to greatservice@losthotels.com.

Member Balance Redemption

Redemptions in the form of a bank check, bank ACH, and international wire transfer will only be issued in the name and address of Traveler #1 ("Member"). For PayPal redemption requests, only the email address that was first registered with LH can be used. Each individual gift to the Member is available for redemption after a 72-hour waiting period. For more information on gift redemption policies please read our FAQs.

Gift Refunds

No refunds will be immediately possible upon completion of the gift giving process. LH has sole discretion to determine the validity of a refund request based on an error in the gift amount or receiving member name. All refund requests must be sent in writing to greatservice@losthotels.com. If a gift giver disputes a charge (chargeback request) LH will contact said person to evaluate the case. If LH decides to refund and the money is still in the members account, LH will deduct the amount in dispute plus a $25 chargeback fee. If the money is no longer available LH may withhold monies from future gifts received to cover these costs.

Wedding postponed or cancelled

In the event of a change of date, it is the member's responsibility to update the information in their registry profile. In the event of a cancellation, the policy would be to return all gifts to the givers. Please contact greatservice@losthotels.com for assistance.

Closing Your Registry Account

You may close your registry account at any time and receive the remaining balance minus the 7% service fee. Members can disable their account from their registry dashboard. Upon closing the account, the registry page will no longer appear on the page or the search results. Any account with an active balance that is not redeemed 180 days after the wedding date will be closed. Lost Hotels LLC will contact the Member via email and letter 60 days before the period expires.

Taxation Consequences

The Member acknowledges that LH makes no claims or promises regarding any and all tax obligations or consequences that may result from your activities as a Member of LH and the Member's use of the services provided by LH. Furthermore, the Member agrees that LH has no obligation to maintain records or provide you with documentation of your transactions with charitable/non-profit organizations for tax reporting purposes.

Your Submissions

Any original materials or any other creative suggestions, text, software, music, sound, photographs, graphics, videos, messages, ideas, notes, drawings, concepts, marketing plans or other information that you submit to us by electronic mail or otherwise, will be treated in accordance with these Terms and Conditions and our Privacy Policy.

By submitting and/or posting Content to the website, you automatically grant to LH a perpetual, irrevocable, royalty-free, non-exclusive and fully sub licensable right and license to use, reproduce, modify, adapt, publish, edit, translate, distribute, perform, create derivative work of and display such Content alone, or as a part of other works in any form, media, or technology, whether now known or hereafter developed.
