There are no roads to the eight oceanview casitas of Majahuitas.The 20 -minute ride in the small boat sent for you,along a rugged and beautiful stretch of coastline with countless coves and rocky headlands,is a treat in itself.landing on the white sands of a small bay with crystaline waters,a peaceful stranded-on-a-beach feeling will envelope you.From here on,everything is provided by your hosts and nature.The rusticity of the open-air-casitas,some perched on the hill,others right where the waves break,doesn't mean luxury,comfort or service are spared.At Majahuitas it is barefoot-with-linen,and if you consider plugging in your laptop or making a phone call a luxury,this is not the place for you.There are no phones on property,and guest room do not have electrical outlets.Torches,candles and lanterns light the way when the sun goes down. |
